Ratnasambhava is lord of the ratna (jewel) family. Everything about this family is yellow-golden, expressing, as Trungpa Rinpoche says, “warmth, full sun-shine and the lushness of the southern earth.” From an egoistic point of view, this can veer into a hungry, rotten pride; freed from selfish concerns hand, it can shine as the golden, calm, Wisdom of Equanimity.
